Job description

MAX Digital is looking for a capable Project Manager to join our team in Austin, Texas, and take the lead on projects across the Product & Engineering teams.

We build complex and compelling Web & mobile applications for the automotive industry (specifically for car dealers). Our mission is to “Own the Digital Retailing Space” and we spend our days innovating and iterating over our products to make that a reality.
We're looking for curious, collaborative people who are eager to teach what they already know and who jump at an opportunity to dive into new territory. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead projects as assigned, both tactical and strategic
  • Be an active participant in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Manage cross-project delivery timelines
  • Identify and advocate opportunities to improve capacity and eliminate bottlenecks
  • Work closely with the development team to coordinate priorities and mitigate blockers
  • Organize software releases and drive scope/timing trade-off decisions within Product & Engineering
  • Deliver scheduled and on-demand reports to executives

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years experience managing software projects employing agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban, FDD, TDD)
  • Proven experience analyzing and communicating requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills


NICE TO HAVES 

  • Experience successfully coordinating business and technical resources under an integrated project plan to ensure the alignment of resources
  • Understand the "why" around a project, and not just the "what"
  • Experience coordinating and motivating cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized
  • Undergraduate degree in business, technical, or related discipline required. Advance degree is even better.
  • Scrum Master certification
  • Experience building SaaS B2B products
  • Project management experience across functional areas (product, development, QA, marketing, sales, success, etc.)
  • Experience managing and motivating technical teams
  • Undergraduate degree in business, technical, or related discipline required. Advance degree is even better.
  • Scrum Master or similar certification
